WEBSITE PRIVACY POLICY

AUTOMATICALLY COLLECTED DATA: Our servers collect the typical anonymous technical data such as device characteristics, operating system, browser type, IP address, stored cookies from previous visits to our site, and site analytics cookies. We use this automatically collected data to analyze how our site is used so as to keep it optimized; we may also use stored cookies to enable you to log in after your first visit without having to manually fill in your information each time. Most browsers automatically accept cookies, but if you prefer, you can probably modify your browser settings to decline cookies. Although our servers currently do not respond to “do-not-track” requests, you can block tracking; for more information, please visit http://www.aboutads.info/choices/.
DATA YOU PROVIDE: If you provide information about yourself or your company via the interactive EDvera “Personal Demo” page, we will use it only for purposes of evaluating your needs and communicating with you, and we do not sell it. Obviously, you can request that we stop communicating with you at any time; you may request that we delete you from our active client and correspondent lists, but for proper record keeping purposes we do maintain archival copies of all inquiries. In the unlikely event of a data breach, we will comply with all applicable data breach laws regarding notification, remediation, etc.
SMS / TEXT MESSAGING: If you opt in to receive text messages from EDvera, we collect your mobile phone number and a record of your consent, and we use them only to send you the messages you signed up for and to respond to your requests. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or reply HELP for help; see our Terms & Conditions for details. We use a third-party messaging provider (Twilio) to deliver text messages on our behalf; it processes your mobile number only for that purpose. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
TRACKERS, ETC.: We do not feature third party ads on our site, and thus there are no advertiser cookies or trackers.
CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS: Pursuant to Cal. Civ. Code §1798.140.(d)(1)(A) we are exempt from the California Consumer Privacy Act. Nonetheless, we will be happy to delete your organization’s information to the extent you do not enter into a business relationship with us.
EU RESIDENTS: In general, we do not collect any personal data as defined in Art. 4 of the GDPR, except that which you voluntarily provide us, which of course is data collected “with consent” pursuant to GDPR Article 7. GDPR Article 14, Paragraphs 5(a) and (b), and Article 27, Paragraph 2 also apply. We do not sell such information or share it with anyone except service providers that process it on our behalf to operate our site and deliver our communications (such as our text messaging provider), and as otherwise set forth above. We use it only to communicate with you as set forth above.
